Our client, an International Bank of Reconstruction and Development, needed a complex solution for in-depth data analysis. Our goal was to develop an internal web portal for countries' research to get an overview of the region's development progress.

The situation

Before starting development, we performed a business analysis and revealed such indicators to implement in the application as tourism growth, work migration, population (mortality and fertility), educational level, etc. All selected indicators should be compared to the latest available data with a previous reference year. Moreover, users should be able to navigate demographic trends, top countries in terms of tourism growth, education level, population, work immigration, and other statistical information. So, we should create a feature-rich portal to research, discover analytics, and download reports in few clicks.
